I used to do not trust power management but instead to turn off the laptop's monitor on leaving it by myself. Nothing special in it. Until QuickTime is used to see Sopranos. It accurately switches off the screen each minute while i'm seeing a movie.
I'm feeling humiliated while being unable to release how they achieved this effect.
Yes, i know nobody but freaks and Steve Jobs uses QT even on Macs, neither do i – just tryed to preview M4Vs before importing them to iTunes Media Library
